Hi all,

A fellow paddler, and a good friend of mine, Eef de Groot, has been nominated for a trophy of the city of Venlo, The Netherlands. It's called the Van Gool Sporttroffee.

Eef is the fastest paddling lady from The Netherlands. This year, she made 1st in K1 1000, K1 500, K1 5000, K1 White Water Racing and 2nd in K1 200 at our National Championships this year. She also made many more medals at both National, and International regatta's.

Her best international result this year was 4th in th1 K1 1000 A-Final in the World Cup in Poznan, Poland. That's awesome!

All you have to do, is visit this link and tick the box in front of :  Eef de Groot-Haaze, Kanovaarster. Then you press "Stem", and that's it You can find it at the upper left corner.

Take a look here for a small explanation why the video's from the 2008 Beijing Olympics are not on YouTube. It has nothing to do with YouTube. The problems are caused by NBC (USA). They claimed the video's that have been recorded by ZDF
